Descripción

Graded is a coach for incline walking on the treadmill. Pick 12-3-30, your own grade and speed, a grade pyramid, hill intervals or the build-up program, and set the grade and speed on the watch with the buttons as you change them on the treadmill. Calories come from the ACSM walking equation, which counts the incline, using the weight from your Garmin profile. During the session you see the grade large, the speed below it, the time left in the block and your heart rate against your zone. When your heart rate stays above the zone, Graded suggests one percent less grade; when it stays below, one percent more. The build-up program looks at last week's sessions and suggests the next step: half a percent or a full percent more grade, or two extra minutes, as long as your heart rate stayed steady in the zone. WHAT IT DOES - Programs: 12-3-30, steady (own grade, speed and time), grade pyramid, hill intervals and a weekly build-up - Grade and speed set with the buttons or by tapping during the session - Calories, MET and MET-minutes from the ACSM walking or running equation, with incline - Metres climbed (distance × grade) and flat-equivalent distance - Heart-rate steering: suggests a higher or lower grade to stay in your zone - Build-up program with a weekly suggestion based on time in zone - Summary with calories, climb, flat-equivalent, average grade, average heart rate and time in zone - Saved as an indoor walk in Garmin Connect with grade, set speed, MET, climb and calories as extra fields - Week page with MET-minutes against your goal, eight-week trend, goal streak and history - Glance with this week's MET-minutes and climb, five languages WHAT IT NEEDS - A treadmill with a grade display; the watch cannot measure the incline itself - Wrist heart rate for the zone and the steering - Weight and heart-rate zones from your Garmin profile, or set them in the app
