HOURSHIFT pairs large digital time with a twelve-sided dial. A highlighted outer facet advances clockwise once per hour, without continuous animation. Classic is the default. It keeps the familiar 1.5.1 layout, original colours for the first four themes, bold digital time and the BAT/BPM/STEPS row. Show or hide the date, battery, heart rate and steps with their original switches. Exact step counts stay complete, and labels are brighter. Want more data choices? Select Expanded in the Design setting. Its four independent fields can show daily steps, recorded heart rate, total daily calories, Body Battery, stress, daily distance, floors climbed, weekly intensity minutes, notification count, step-goal percentage or watch battery percentage. Each field can also be turned off. Expanded's defaults are steps, heart rate, calories and Body Battery, with an optional separate battery footer. Selecting a battery field suppresses the duplicate footer in the full layout. Classic keeps its four published themes: Electric Lagoon, Solar Coral, Ultraviolet and Graphite Ice. Expanded has its own six-theme selector, adding Signal Amber and Paper White. These colour choices are stored independently: selecting Expanded Paper White does not change your Classic theme. Paper White uses a light paper-like background with dark text. Expanded has coloured gradients and a more visible segmented rim. The optional Black background setting is off by default. Both designs keep the moving hour facet. Steps and other counters keep their full numbers without K abbreviations. Calories are the daily total, including resting and active calories. Distance follows your watch's metric or statute units and uses one decimal place. Weekly intensity minutes use Garmin's weighted weekly total, with vigorous minutes counted double. Step-goal percentages above 999% are marked as exceeding 999%. Always-On offers four choices: your selected data, time with optional battery, time only, or off. Data follow your chosen design. The data mode also keeps the date when enabled. AOD uses gray text on black, small position offsets and temporal pixel masking when the device requires burn-in protection. The clock follows your watch's 12/24-hour setting, with AM/PM in 12-hour mode. Calendar, field labels and settings are English, independent of watch language. Settings are in Connect IQ. Classic remains the default after this update; Expanded is optional. Previously hidden steps and heart-rate fields are preserved. Data availability depends on your watch and its local records. Unavailable values show --. Heart-rate and stress records older than five minutes, Body Battery records older than twenty minutes, and records with missing or future timestamps are hidden.
