Surf Dawn Forecast: your surf day at the spot, hour by hour, on your watch. - Wave height bars from 05 to 19 h, coloured by how the swell hits the beach, with its direction and period. - The three best hours highlighted (size and period, penalised by onshore wind and poor exposure). - Wind row with direction and speed: green offshore, yellow cross-shore, red onshore. - Tide curve with highs and lows, from official tide tables where they exist (SOHMA in Uruguay, NOAA, JMA and others). - Daylight bezel with sunrise and sunset; water and air temperature. - Today, tomorrow and the day after (on touchscreen watches, swipe sideways). - More than 2,000 spots around the world: Uruguay's come with the app and the rest download by zone, by themselves where you are or by hand from the picker (continent, country and region). Nearest first, with distance and direction. - Settings: total waves or swell only, metres or feet, km/h or knots, and the Surf Dawn watch face's four backgrounds. Wave and wind models chosen per zone, through Open-Meteo. Opens from the apps list or from the Surf Dawn watch face (hold the face). Needs the phone connected to download the data. - Glance all day: the best spot and its window in the day's colour, the hours bar (green, yellow, red), waves and wind; after 19:00, tomorrow's. Tap it to open TODAY. - The morning alert's notification has Open, which takes you to TODAY. - No connection at alert time: it alerts with last night's ranking (marked as such), and alerts again if the new forecast changes the best spot, the window or the day's colour. - The alert retries for four hours, and again when the watch's sleep schedule ends (battery saver can leave it without the phone). Alert time from 06:00 to 09:00, every 15 minutes. - Settings → Last try: when the alert last tried and how it went, so you know why it didn't arrive. - TODAY's bezel paints each hour green, yellow or red by the swell and wind at that beach. - Less battery and data: a saved forecast and TODAY's ranking stay fresh for three hours, and the alert asks only for the hours it compares. With the watch's storage full, the alert still goes out. - New watches: Enduro 4 and MARQ (Gen 3).
