Enjoying Hail Yeah? Buy me a coffee. It keeps the app alive and ad-free. Even a small contribution means a lot: https://buymeacoffee.com/itsapengwen
Your Garmin's built-in weather is stuck on one data source. Hail Yeah lets you choose from ten — including national services like the US NWS, UK Met Office, Norway's MET, and Australia's BOM that often beat global feeds in their own backyard.
What you get:
Five forecast screens (current, hourly, daily, details, alerts), rain probability, wind direction, feels-like, UV, pressure trend, and severe weather alerts. Full unit control, GPS or saved locations, a native-style glance, and a smart cache so it works offline too.
Free. No ads. No account.
Ten sources to choose from:
No key needed: Open-Meteo (6 selectable models), MET Norway, US NWS, BOM.
Bring Your Own API key: OpenWeatherMap, Pirate Weather, WeatherAPI.com, Visual Crossing, Meteoblue, Weatherbit, UK Met Office.
Feedback always welcome - please click "Contact Developer".

Meteoblue added as a new data source. Minor fixes for Fenix 9 series.
Version 1.1.0
Met Office DataHub API support - Due to the massive 1,700-character Met Office API keys exceeding Garmin's 256-character settings limit, a new secure key exchange service is now hosted at Cloudflare. Simply paste your key at the provided web link to generate a short 8-character code for the watch settings, and the watch will securely download the full key directly. (Keys are securely wiped from the exchange service after 15 minutes).
