Beskrivning

Trip Meter turns your watch into a traveller's instrument panel. On a bus, a train or a plane, glance at your wrist to see where you are, how fast you are moving, and which way you are heading. NO PHONE. NO CELL SIGNAL. NO INTERNET. JUST GPS. All it needs is your watch's own GPS. Place names come from data built into the app - boundary data covering Japan's 1,904 cities, towns, villages and wards, and more than 26,000 cities worldwide. It works in airplane mode, over the ocean, and in the middle of nowhere. WHAT YOU SEE - Place name for where you are right now. In Japan it is the municipality you are actually in, from official boundary data - not just the nearest town - Out at sea, the nearest town and how far away it is; beyond 150 km, your coordinates, in the format you chose - Speed, with a large easy-to-read readout - A compass ring showing which way the watch points, with a marker for your direction of travel - Altitude, switching automatically between the barometric altimeter on the ground and GPS altitude in the air - Clock and date Units follow your watch. If your watch is set to miles and feet, that is what Trip Meter shows - nothing to configure. BUILT FOR TRAVEL - The barometric altimeter reads the cabin pressure inside an airliner, not your real altitude. Trip Meter detects flight from speed and altitude and switches to GPS altitude on its own. - The receiver switches to its aviation positioning mode automatically at high speed and altitude. - An estimate of how many hours of battery you have left, measured from your actual drain rather than a generic figure. FREE AND OPTIONAL PAID FEATURE Everything above is free, with no time limit and no restrictions. Recording your journey as a FIT activity - so it appears in Garmin Connect with a map - is an optional paid feature. It is unlocked with a key tied to your watch. The unlock screen shows a QR code: scan it with your phone and the page already knows which watch the key is for. You never have to read an ID off the watch and type it in. One key unlocks one watch. It is a one-time purchase - no subscription, nothing to renew - and nothing is sent over the internet: the app checks the key offline. Refunds: the key is issued the moment you pay and cannot be revoked, so sales are final. If a key does not work, that is a fault and it will be fixed or refunded. Your purchase allows a few activations, so a mistake is recoverable; if you run out, write to [email protected] and it will be reset at no charge. Please try the free version first to make sure the app suits your watch. WARNING: The app is intended only as an in-flight aid and should not be used as a primary information source. If the app contains a barometric altimeter, it will not function in a pressurized aircraft and should not be used in a pressurized aircraft. Trip Meter is not affiliated with or endorsed by Garmin.

Nyheter

- Fixed: if the watch had not been restarted for a long time (about 25 days or more), the compass ring stopped turning smoothly. - Fixed: a trip that was never reset could stop adding up its distance correctly over very long use. - Distance and heading are now protected against rare invalid values from the watch's sensors.
