Race Pacer Pro Know whether you are ahead or behind your race plan at a glance, even when GPS distance is imperfect. Race Pacer Pro is an offline Connect IQ data field for runners, pacers, clubs and triathletes racing from 5 km through marathon distance. Set up in three steps: 1. Add Race Pacer Pro to a data page in your Run activity. 2. Choose the course distance and goal time in the data-field settings. 3. Start the activity and follow the clear AHEAD or BEHIND delta and projected finish. Pro features: - 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, marathon and custom distances from 5.0 to 100.0 km - Even or negative-split pacing strategy - Smoothed current pace, target pace, plan delta and projected finish - One-field, two-field and four-field layouts selected by the Garmin activity page - Kilometre or mile marker correction: press LAP at an official course marker to anchor corrected distance - Configurable pace alert, marker reminder and smoothing - Projected-finish or distance-remaining bottom line - Optional local last-race summary - Optional FIT developer fields for corrected distance, plan delta and projected finish - Metric and imperial presentation - 25 Latin-script languages Race Pacer Pro starts and pauses with the normal Garmin activity timer. GPS spikes and missing samples are filtered, and prediction is frozen while paused. Marker correction is always an explicit LAP action; the app does not silently alter official course distance. Permissions and data: The Data Field Alert permission provides the configured pace alert. The FIT Contributor permission writes the optional Race Pacer developer fields into the activity FIT file. Preferences and the optional last summary stay on the watch. The app requires no account, phone connection or network access and does not transmit personal data. Race Pacer Pro is a pacing aid, not an official timing system. Course measurement, GPS conditions and user input can affect estimates. - bikintulis.de
