Just Tactical Tiles A tile-based tactical watch face: every readout sits in its own panel, so the screen stays legible at a glance. 22 themes and two progress bars that show almost anything your watch measures. LAYOUT Digital time with optional seconds, a date tile, a current-weather tile, a three-day forecast row, two full-width tiles in the middle, three along the bottom, and a footer field. Ten configurable slots, numbered in the settings in the order they appear on screen. PROGRESS BARS The two middle tiles can each become a progress bar instead of a field. Choose from 24 sources: battery, steps, calories, floors, active minutes, move bar, body battery, stress, recovery, sleep score, solar intensity, Bluetooth, humidity, cloud cover, precipitation chance, daylight progress and more. Heart rate, UV index and Pulse Ox are drawn as zone bars - segmented scales where each zone keeps its own colour, so you read the level, not a percentage. There is also a solar day bar: a 24-hour band centred on the current time, shading night, dawn, day and dusk, with sunrise and sunset marked by flags showing the exact times. It reaches twelve hours back and twelve forward, so yesterday's sunset and tomorrow's sunrise appear as the day turns. Each bar carries a flag at the current value, with the label and the real figure beside it, and has its own fill and empty colours. THEMES Twenty-two themes, including Kaleidoscope, which gives every tile its own colour, and Value, which colours tiles by the field's level. Every theme sets its own bar colours. On the Custom theme you set foreground, time, icons, background, tiles, lines and both bar colours yourself, as hex. WEATHER Weather works out of the box using Garmin's own weather data - no account, no setup, no key. OpenWeatherMap is optional, and only needed for the OWM fields: temperature, humidity, wind, UV, air quality, precipitation, dew point, visibility, cloud cover, moon data and the city name. For those you need your own key for the One Call API. This is a subscription, not a free plan: OpenWeather asks for payment card details when you sign up. The first 1,000 calls a day are included at no cost, anything beyond that is billed. The face makes one request per refresh interval, so at the default fifteen minutes that is under a hundred calls a day. When you subscribe, set the daily call limit on your OpenWeather billing page to 1,000 - the default is higher, and that is what exposes you to charges. The key is yours and stays on your watch. Without a key, OWM fields show -- and everything else keeps working. LOCATION Sunrise and sunset times, the solar day bar, coordinates, MGRS and the city name all need a position fix. The face does not turn on GPS itself - that would drain the battery. It uses the last position your watch knows, from your most recent activity or from its own weather sync. If you have just installed it, go outdoors and start and stop any GPS activity once. Until then, sun times fall back to a default and location fields show --. The city name comes from OpenWeatherMap's reverse geocoding, so it needs the key above. Coordinates and MGRS are computed on the watch and need only the position. UNITS Metric or statute follows your watch settings. Pressure in mmHg, millibars or inches. Wind in m/s, km/h, mph or knots. A secondary time zone with half-hour offsets. Dates can be forced to English where the system font lacks the glyphs. ALWAYS-ON On AMOLED watches, choose between a clock-only always-on screen and the full layout with a forced black background. Burn-in protection is respected throughout. TOUCH Tap to cycle themes or switch the forecast. Can be disabled. NOTES Weather, sleep score, body battery, stress and recovery come from your watch; availability depends on your model. Fields with no data show -- rather than guessing.
