••• IF YOU EXPERIENCE ISSUES: please contact me via the Contact Developer form or via [email protected], I'm happy to help! I try to respond within 24 hours. ••• Rain is a lightweight widget that shows you a graph of the upcoming precipitation. It's way faster than other radar widgets that needs to load radar images onto your watch. USA / UK / Ireland: Precise graph of the expected rain for the next hour. Belgium / The Netherlands / Norway / Sweden / Finland / Denmark: Precise graph of the expected rain for the next 2 hours. Worldwide: Graph of the expected rain for the next 6 hours. Rain shows you a combination of rain intensity and probablity. This is expressed as PL: Precipitation Load. This is a free app for basic usage. If you want extra features, the app requires a small one-time purchase of $1.99 excl VAT via K-Pay. • Multiple (fixed) locations • Full day period option • Timestamps • Temperature • Location name • Tap the graph for precise insights • Optionally select OpenWeatherMap as data source The app is also able to give you Rain Alerts and share its data with watchfaces, these features however require more load on my server and weather services, which requires me to request for subscriptions for these features. Subscriptions are only $0.59 / month or $4.99 / year. • Rain Alerts • Sharing data with watchfaces (Complications) * • Optionally select AccuWeather as data source • Free access to the Rain Datafield: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/0fe95bad-3238-4d62-90bc-000fc35e6000 Seeing the short-term graph in the widget and in glance mode is free and will always be free. More information about pricing can be found here: https://vaw-rain.vercel.app/info When you open up the widget for the first time, it will need a location fix. Remember this will be the fastest when you're outdoors. Afterwards it remembers your locations and tries to update it in the background when possible. But to get an updated location it will be faster to be outdoors as well. If you bought the Essential Version of the widget, you can switch period and locations (which you can enter in the settings of the widget) via the menu of the widget. With the Pro Version (subscription) you can also share Rain data with external watchfaces like Goals V (and more). You can have the graph appear there, the current rain as a percentage or a textual hint on when it is expected to rain. * https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/6d011c6e-a74d-45bc-8cee-a199a990b41c If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, I'm happy to help! Don't forget to leave your email address in the message itself, otherwise I won't be able to answer you. If you like this app, please leave a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. It would mean a lot to me. Payments are handled via KiezelPay, so you can pay by PayPal or CreditCard. I'm gathering data from the following API's: Apple WeatherKit (https://weatherkit.apple.com/legal-attribution.html - formerly DarkSky), Buienradar (NL/BE), MET Norway - yR (NO/SE/FI/DK), DWD Deutscher Wetterdienst via BrightSky (DE), OpenWeatherMap as option for Essential Version users, AccuWeather as option for Pro users. Check out my website to contact me, check some Frequently Asked Questions, see my other products, or even get some discounts! https://vaw.be/watch/?brand=garmin&app=rain * Complications is only available on devices that support it. Venu2 and newer, VenuSQ2 and newer, Fenix 7 and newer, Epix 2 and newer, Forerunner 255 - 265 - 955 - 965 and newer, Marq 2, Approachs70 and newer
