Control your DJI Osmo action camera straight from your Garmin — over Bluetooth Low Energy, no phone required. Start and stop recording, fire the shutter, and switch shooting modes from your wrist or handlebars. The app also streams your Garmin's GPS (position, altitude, speed, heading) into the camera, so DJI Mimo and telemetry-overlay tools can show your track, speed, and elevation on the footage. FEATURES - One-press record start / stop and photo shutter - Mode switching: Video, Photo, Timelapse, Slow-Mo, Hyperlapse, SuperNight, Subject Tracking - Live GPS telemetry embedded into your recordings - Activity-aware GPS: while you record a Garmin activity (ride, run, hike), the remote shares that same GPS fix so your tracks match - Recording timer kept in sync with the camera - Auto-reconnect to your last camera on launch - Clean, glanceable UI with connection + GPS-lock indicators, scaled to every supported device SUPPORTED CAMERAS - DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro (fully tested) - DJI Osmo Action 6 (same control protocol — connect, record, modes, GPS) - DJI Osmo 360 (connect, record, and GPS telemetry; 360-specific modes shown by name) Partial Support - DJI Osmo Nano (Official documentation from DJI is to wait for future FW update, until then not supported) - The app can now pair with the Osmo Nano and start/stop recording, take photos and switch shooting modes. Waking the Nano from sleep also works — the app reconnects and wakes it for you. (First release with Nano support — please tell us how it works for you!) - Note: GPS overlay is not available on the Nano — the camera doesn't accept location data from remotes. SETUP 1. On the camera: enable the Bluetooth remote / wireless connection. 2. On the Garmin: open the app, press START to scan, select your camera, and confirm the pairing code on the camera. 3. Record — GPS telemetry starts automatically once a fix is acquired (the location pin turns green). NOTES - Waking a sleeping camera from the Garmin isn't possible (DJI's wake needs a BLE broadcast that Connect IQ can't send) — wake the camera with its own button and the app reconnects automatically. - Clips are time-stamped in UTC (the standard for video metadata); your player or editor displays them in your local time.

## Version 1.0.91 - Scanning diagnostics: when the camera is not found ("Scan timeout"), the diagnostics screen (UP-DOWN-UP-DOWN while scanning) and the log now show whether the watch reported any Bluetooth devices at all and whether it accepted the camera profile. Send us a photo of that screen or the log if your camera is never found. - The first automatic scan after launch now waits for the watch to confirm the camera profile (at most 3 seconds). On most watches nothing changes. - No other behavior changed from 1.0.90. Nothing the app sends to the camera changed.
