CODE NAME ZERO is a segmented-LCD instrument face for tactix 8 Solar 51 mm and fenix 8 Solar 51 mm, built like field kit: fixed fields, unlit ghost segments, one status row, and nothing that moves except the seconds. CLOCK: large segmented time with ghost 88:88 behind it, seconds beside the minutes, and a sixty-dash seconds ring that sweeps while the watch is awake. STATUS ROW: LNK (phone connected), MSG (notifications waiting), ALM (alarm set), DND (do not disturb) and STRM. STRM lights when barometric pressure has fallen 3 hPa or more in three hours, a classic storm warning. Each tag is lit only when true. HAZARD BARS: two striped meters. Choose watch battery, Body Battery, stress, step goal, solar intensity or heart rate for each. PANELS: two framed panels. Choose Zulu (UTC) time, a light countdown (DARK IN before sunset, LIGHT IN after it), date, battery days remaining, or the 3-hour pressure change. MODE ROW: REST, EASY, AERO and MAX light from your Garmin heart-rate zones. DATA CELLS: three cells, each selectable from heart rate, altitude, barometer with trend, temperature, Pulse Ox, respiration, stress, steps, floors, calories, recovery time, sunrise, sunset, notifications, Body Battery or VO2 max. Hold a cell to open the matching Garmin screen. DISPLAYS: Black ops, Evasion (olive positive LCD), Alert red, NVG green and Amber. With ALERT mode on, the whole face turns red at your max heart-rate zone. Ghost segments, seconds ring, 24-hour time, feet and Fahrenheit can each be switched on the watch or in Garmin Connect. Sunrise and sunset need a location from GPS or Garmin weather; unavailable readings show --. NVG green is a colour scheme, not a night-vision certification; use the watch's own Night Vision mode when required. Free. No account, subscription or analytics. Independent design with no claimed affiliation to any studio, game, aerospace company or military organisation.
