This widget shows the Lunar Azimuth & Elevation and today's rising & setting times at the current location. It can also display the current phase of the moon, its approximate percentage illumination, its age in days and the time to the next New & Full moons. Press Select to show the times in either mode. Use Menu to switch between the two display modes. Use Settings to choose whether or not to display the compass point name (N, E, S, W etc) of the azimuth. Icons made by srip (https://www.flaticon.com/authors/srip) from Flaticon. Thank you Peter Bleakley and Holger Haug for suggestions and for helping me to test the widget. Thank you Kim de Wildt for the non-English labels. I found many different lunar phase codes & websites which all give slightly different results! Mine is mainly based on mooncalc.c by John Walker (http://www.fourmilab.ch) The azimuth and elevation calculation is based on PHP code by Dubravko Loborec, http://www.dubravkoloborec.com, which was in turn based on the Matlab code by Darin Koblick (https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/profile/authors/1284781-darin-koblick) Copyright (c) 2010, Darin Koblick All rights reserved.
