And it's not just decoration: every gauge works. THE TUBES - Realistic IN-14 style nixie tubes with a honeycomb mesh and the unlit numerals visible behind the glow - Each tube flickers to life when you raise your wrist, just like real gas-discharge tubes, and re-strikes when the digit changes - Clean, battery-friendly always-on mode: just the tubes, gently dimmed WORKING INSTRUMENTS - Three pressure gauges with real needles and printed scales - A glass steam vessel that fills with rippling steam - The whole back of the watch fills with steam as a fourth reading (battery by default) - A brass plaque for one more figure, plus the date MAKE IT YOURS Choose what every instrument shows in the Garmin Connect app, under Watch Faces, then Steamworks Nixie, then Settings: - Steps, heart rate, outside temperature, battery, Body Battery, stress, calories, floors climbed, intensity minutes or distance - Gauge label colour: red, black, navy, bottle green, brass or copper Red warning zones light up where they matter: high heart rate or stress, low battery or Body Battery. TRIAL AND UNLOCK Steamworks Nixie is free to try for 1 day. After that, a one-time unlock costs £1.50 - no subscription. - When the trial ends, the face shows a QR code. Scan it with your phone, pay securely through Stripe, and your unlock code is emailed to you within a few minutes. - Want it straight away? Turn on "Show unlock QR code" in the settings to buy during the trial. - Enter the code in the settings under "Unlock code". It works on the watch it was bought for and survives reinstalls. Refunds: if the unlock doesn't work on your watch, email [email protected] within 14 days for a full refund. NOTES - Outside temperature uses the weather your phone syncs through Garmin Connect, so it shows "--" until the first weather sync. - Body Battery, stress, floors and intensity minutes need a watch that tracks them. - No personal data is collected by the watch face.
