SETTINGS ON THE WATCH Hold UP, pick Watch Face, select Wordclock, press START, then Customize. The menu is drawn like the face: a short How it works guide, the colours, the ring, the unlit letters, the minute dots, IT IS and the always-on brightness. The same settings are in Garmin Connect if you prefer the phone. THE TIME IN WORDS A grid of letters lights up the time as you would say it: IT IS FIVE PAST TEN, QUARTER TO SEVEN, HALF PAST NINE. The lit letters glow softly, the others stay in the background. The grid is drawn for the round screen: the rows are longer in the middle, and no letter is cut by the edge. TO THE MINUTE The words give the time in steps of five minutes. Four dots under the grid add the minutes in between: 10:08 is FIVE PAST TEN and three dots. A RING FOR YOUR GOAL A fine ring around the edge fills with your step goal. You can also show the watch battery, Body Battery, your weekly intensity minutes goal, your floors goal, or nothing at all. If your watch has no value, the ring stays empty rather than showing a made-up number. Nothing leaves the watch. MAKE IT YOURS Five palettes: Warm, Ice, Ember, Mint and Paper (ink on cream). Unlit letters visible, faint or hidden. Minute dots on or off, IT IS shown or hidden. ALWAYS-ON A separate always-on design on a black screen: only the lit words, in grey, without the glow or the ring. It shifts slightly every minute to protect the screen. A brighter option is in the menu. Compatible with the Garmin AMOLED watches listed on this page. English only.
