Roem puts Klaverjassen, the Dutch trick-taking card game, on your watch. You play with a computer partner against two computer opponents, by the Amsterdam or the Rotterdam rules, with compulsory or free choice of trump. Roem is counted automatically in every trick: runs of three and four, stuk, four of a kind and four jacks, plus 100 for a pit. The opponents and your partner don't see your cards. Before every move they deal out the cards they can't see in many possible ways, play each version to the end and pick the card that scores best. Before you choose trump, Roem plays your hand out many times for each suit and shows how often you would go nat and what each suit is worth on average, so you can decide with numbers instead of a hunch. During play a coach runs the same calculation in the background, shows the chance that the playing side goes nat, and tells you when another card would have been clearly better. You pick a card by scrolling to it and confirming, so there are no tiny cards to tap, and a game of 16 hands waits where you left it when you close the app. WHAT IT DOES - Klaverjassen with Amsterdam or Rotterdam rules for trumping, overtrumping and undertrumping - Compulsory trump or free choice with passing; games of 16 or 8 hands - Automatic roem per trick, last trick 10, pit 100, nat when the playing side has no more than half - Trump advice per suit with the chance of going nat and the expected score - Coach with a live nat chance and a note when a better card was available, plus a hint button - Three difficulty levels, last trick on demand and a roem table - Statistics: wins, streaks, nat rate when you play, pits, roem per hand and how often you matched the coach - Resume after closing, five languages and a glance with the score WHAT IT NEEDS - Nothing else — no phone, no account, no internet; everything runs on the watch
