Senior LCD is a large-digit, classic-LCD-style watch face made for older eyes. Big 7-segment time, weekday and date in the top row, seconds you can switch off to make the time digits even larger. Pulse, steps and battery in fixed LCD cells with printed labels — no icons to decode. Alarm bell shows whether an alarm is set; a struck-through phone appears only when the watch has lost its phone. Two panels: amber "backlight on" and grey "daylight LCD". Auto mode switches to amber an hour before sunset and back to grey at sunrise (sun times from the watch's location). Today's sunrise and sunset printed on the dial. Always-on: thin digits only, well under the burn-in limit. Settings are on the watch: long-press the face → Senior LCD → Settings (Panel, Ghost segments, Seconds). Nothing to configure on the phone. 1.1.0 Sunrise/sunset now works on watches whose weather data carries no coordinates. The face now also uses the watch's last GPS fix, and remembers a position once it has seen one — sunrise and sunset keep working after the watch forgets its fix. New permission: Positioning. Read-only — the face never turns GPS on. If no position is known yet, the dial says "NO LOCATION - RUN GPS ONCE": start any GPS activity outdoors once, and the times appear within a minute. The dial now tells you why sun times are missing (no weather data / no location) instead of showing a decorative line. Position is re-checked every minute until it is found (was: once an hour). First release. Review-guideline checklist (why this should pass) No third-party trademarks on screen or in the name (the dial texts are our own). Always-on mode lights ≤ 4.7 % of pixels (worst case 08:88, thin 112 px) and shifts every minute — under Garmin's 10 % AMOLED limit. No permissions requested; Weather/Activity reads need none. Settings implemented with getSettingsView() (on-device), the documented path for faces. Font licences credited in the description.
