Descripción

Visualizes time spent in heart rate zones (PZ, configured in Garmin Connect). Also displays: - PZ statistics for the current Activity, - values of selected additional metrics (see 'Stats Bar - Additional Metrics' below), - transitions between PZs via audio alerts (see 'Tone Info' below), - directions: heading, North, and wind (see 'Director' widget). (Widgets) = PZ Scale - displays current PZ status, augmented with: heart rate (BPM) value, heart rate reserve (%HRR: 50% - resting HR, 100% - max HR). Variants: === Dial scale (active in full-screen display mode) - the heart rate arrow moves along the PZ scale. === Linear scale (active in other, smaller display layouts) - the PZ scale moves beneath a static heart rate marker. = HR History - displays a retrospective chart (up to 90s) of time spent in PZs. = HR Statistics - displays the ratio of time spent in each PZ during Activity. Additional metrics can be overlaid on top of the Bar (see below). = Director - displays a combination of directions: to North, of movement, wind (+ color-coded wind speed). Note: Edge Explorer does not have weather function, so the wind is not shown on these devices. Wind speed (m/s) is color-coded using PZ colors: === 0-3 - below-Z1 color === 3-6 - Z1 color === 6-9 - Z2 color === 9-12 - Z3 color === 12-15 - Z4 color === 15-18 - Z5 color === 18.. - above-Z5 color (Tone Info) Can notify you about PZ changes with an audio alert. The “direction” of the change and the target zone are encoded by the sequence and pitch of the tones: the first two tones indicate whether the change is up or down; the number of tones following the first one corresponds to the target zone number. E.g., a Z2-to-Z3 transition sounds like LOW-HIGH-HIGH; a Z2-to-Z1 transition sounds like HIGH-LOW. The active 'Lazy mode' mode filters out "redundant" alerts (when HR gets "stuck" on the boundary of PZs, bouncing back and forth) - a new alert triggers sooner the further the heart rate moves from the zone boundary, but no later than 20 seconds. (HR Statistics - Additional metrics) You can overlay 2 additional metrics (speed, cadence, etc.) on top of the HR Statistics bar. The metric selection for each side is defined in the settings: 'Overlay on Stats :: Left/Right Metric'.
