Ray-traced light shines from the watch hands, and the hands cast real shadows on each other. An analog face lit by its own hands. Each hand is a strip of light on a black dial; where the hands meet, one shades the other. The light is pre-computed for every angle, so it moves exactly with the hands. LIGHT Many color schemes (Neon, Synthwave, Sunset, Aurora, Fire, Ice, Ocean and more), plus Rainbow, Time of day, Heart rate, Battery and your own four colors. Choose direction, ray traced, neon or spotlight style, brightness, shadows and a seconds-hand trail. DIAL AND HANDS Full screen or a circular dial with four complications from 54 fields (heart rate, steps, battery, Body Battery, weather, sunrise/sunset and more), including complications from other apps. Several marker styles, five hand styles, and your own monogram of up to 5 characters. ALWAYS-ON Glowing edges, outline hands, hands only, or off. The face shifts a few pixels on every update to protect the AMOLED screen. INSTINCT CROSSOVER AMOLED The watch's own hands shine the light; the face adds the light, the dial and the seconds hand. WATCHES Venu X1, Venu 3 and 3S, Venu 4, vivoactive 6, Forerunner 170, 265, 265S, 570, 965 and 970, fenix 8, 8 Pro, 9, 9 Pro and E, epix (Gen 2) and epix Pro, D2 Mach 1, 2 and 2 Pro, Descent Mk3, MARQ (Gen 2), Approach S70, and Instinct Crossover AMOLED. SETTINGS Change everything in the Garmin Connect app (Watch Faces, Ambient Lights, Settings). Text fields and the time zone offset are available only there. PERMISSIONS Sensor history, user profile (Active Calories only) and complications. Location is used only for sunrise and sunset. Nothing leaves your watch. Icons: Lucide (ISC). Like Ambient Lights? Another analog face from ByteWay: Orrery, an analog face with no hands, where rings of lacquer inlaid with mother-of-pearl turn under a fixed pointer. Search for it in the Connect IQ store.
