Magene Radar is a Connect IQ data field for Garmin Edge 1040 designed for use with compatible Magene ANT+ and Bluetooth devices, including the L508 radar/tail light and AT1200/AT1600 front lights. The data field can display radar telemetry such as detected vehicle count, relative speed, distance, side, session total and estimated vehicle speed. Battery information for compatible Magene lights can also be displayed, including battery percentage when available. The application includes configurable light control for compatible ANT+ lights. Light operation can be based on solar intensity or calculated sunrise and sunset times, while front light output can be adjusted according to cycling speed. Displayed radar metrics can be configured in the application settings to match different Edge 1040 data screen layouts.
