Beskrivelse

Recite helps you learn Bible verses by heart, a few minutes a day, right on your wrist. It comes with 250 well-known verses in the King James Version, grouped into 18 collections such as Classics, Love, Faith, Peace, Strength and Comfort. Pick the collections you want, and Recite adds a couple of new verses each day and brings back the ones you learned just before you would forget them. Behind it is a modern spaced-repetition scheduler (FSRS). Every verse has its own strength and difficulty, and each time you rate yourself (Again, Hard, Good or Easy) Recite works out when to show it next. It also keeps your daily load even: there is a daily limit, reviews are spread over quieter days, and after a break the backlog is paid off fairly, the verses you are most likely to forget first. Practice starts with the first letter of every word, moves to word by word, and ends with only the reference. WHAT IT DOES - 250 verses in five public-domain translations: KJV, Statenvertaling, Luther 1912, Louis Segond 1910, Reina-Valera 1909 - 18 collections you switch on or off, plus your own selection of verses - Practice modes: first letters, word by word, reference only, or automatic by how well you know a verse - Spaced repetition (FSRS) with the next interval shown on every rating button - Daily limit, new verses per day and target recall you choose; reviews spread over the week - 7-day outlook with your daily load and when a backlog will be cleared - Progress: verses memorized, in learning and still new, recall rate over 30 days - Daily streak and a glance with the verses due today WHAT IT NEEDS - Nothing extra: all verses are stored on the watch and it works offline - The translation follows your watch language and can be changed in Settings
