Beskrivelse

Hot sun, dry air and wind can pull water out of fresh concrete faster than it bleeds, and that is when plastic shrinkage cracks appear. Curetime works out the evaporation rate of the fresh surface with the Uno formula behind the ACI 305R nomograph, from the air temperature, humidity and wind of the forecast and your concrete temperature, and gives right now and every coming hour a plain GO (below 0.5 kg/m²/h), CAUTION (0.5 to 1.0) or STOP (above 1.0), with the measures that help. Start a pour from the menu and the watch tracks maturity with the Nurse-Saul method (ASTM C1074, datum temperature -10 °C or 0 °C): it logs the temperature while the app is open, fills the gaps with the hourly forecast and estimates when you reach your targets for finishing, saw cutting and stripping forms, also in the glance ("Saw cut ±16:30"). Targets come from your mix or supplier and are set as hours at 20 °C. Curetime gives estimates only: always follow the structural engineer and the mix supplier. WHAT IT DOES - Evaporation rate now and per hour in kg/m²/h or lb/ft²/h, with GO, CAUTION and STOP - When the next GO hour starts, or how long GO lasts - Measures for CAUTION and STOP: avoid the peak hours, windbreaks, fog spray, evaporation retarder, cooler concrete, cure right after finishing - Concrete temperature: enter a measured value, or use air temperature plus an offset - Nurse-Saul maturity in °C·h (or °F·h) from the moment of pouring, also when the pour started up to two hours ago - Expected time for finishing, saw cutting and stripping forms, with a vibration when a target is reached - Frost warning from the hourly forecast, threshold adjustable - Pour log of the last 60 pours with maturity, peak evaporation and temperature range - Five languages, metric or imperial WHAT IT NEEDS - A phone connected to Garmin Connect for the hourly weather forecast (usually about 12 hours ahead) - Your own maturity targets from the mix design or the supplier

Nyheder

New: a notification at the calculated moment for finishing, saw-cutting or stripping the formwork, even with the app closed (toggle in the menu).
