A bold two-colour sports dial: a dark mountain sky above, a solid colour panel below, and the time split across the line between them. The line runs from nine o'clock up toward two. The hour sits above it in off-white, over a range of dark peaks; the minutes sit below it in black on the panel, stepped one digit to the right so the line passes cleanly between the two rows. The hour always shows two digits, and follows your watch's own 12/24-hour setting. To the right of the hour, a thermometer and the current temperature, with the day's high beneath it. On the panel, a round gauge on the left carries one reading of your choice - heart rate, barometric pressure, steps or distance - with a marker that travels round the arc: steps and distance fill it as you close in on your step goal. On the right, body battery with a lightning bolt beside it. The full weekday and date sit under the minutes, and the watch battery at the foot of the dial. Sixty ticks run round the rim and change colour where they cross the line. While the watch is awake, the tick for the current second lights up and steps round the dial once a second. The panel shades smoothly from its bright edge toward the bottom, and the peaks are kept dark enough that the hour always reads cleanly over them. Always-on keeps every reading - the time, temperature, gauge, body battery, date and battery - in exactly the place it holds awake, drawn dimmed on black. It is measured against the display luminance limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS for Race Panel colour: yellow, orange, lime or red. The text on the panel stays black on every colour. Gauge shows: heart rate, pressure, steps or distance. Distance follows the watch's own kilometre or mile setting. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Weather data always arrives in Celsius whatever the watch is set to, so this one cannot be derived. Time format follows the watch's own 12/24-hour setting - anything the watch already knows is taken from the watch rather than asked again here.
