The entire scale rotates beneath a marker that never moves, so the current second always sits in the same place on the screen. At second 15 the 15 is under the pointer; at second 00 the 60 is. You stop hunting for a thin needle. TEN SECTORS, YOUR ORDER Sector 1 sits at the top and numbering runs clockwise, so you can put the two things you actually check at the top of the dial and let the rest fill in around them. Any sector you do not need can be switched off and left empty. BUILT TO BE CHEAP ON BATTERY Heavy readings are cached for a minute; only the scale redraws each second while the screen is awake. No background services, no animation timer. In always-on the motion stops and just the outlined time remains. HONEST ABOUT DATA Every value comes from Garmin's own APIs. Weather and sun events need Garmin weather and a position; metrics depend on what your watch has. Anything unavailable shows -- instead of a guess.
