A ski data field that counts descents only, never the chairlift. On several watches the native alpine profile mixes lift ascents into run count and distance. This field watches barometric vertical speed and ground speed, decides whether you are skiing, riding a lift, or standing around, and keeps honest numbers: run count, last run drop and time, descent-only vertical, and ski time versus lift time. Pick what the field shows first in Connect IQ settings: run count, descent vertical, or ski and lift time. A minimum drop setting stops tiny slopes from counting as runs.
