Feel tension building while you sit still? SighSense notices it and guides you through a short breathing reset you can follow with your eyes closed. Stress at your desk, in traffic or in a meeting looks different from exercise: your heart rate rises while your body stays still. SighSense watches for exactly that pattern and offers a physiological sigh - two inhales through the nose, one long exhale through the mouth - guided by distinct vibration rhythms. WHAT YOU GET * Quick Reset: 3, 5 or 8 cycles of the physiological sigh (about 30-90 seconds) * Deep Reset: 5 minutes of cyclic sighing, the practice studied at Stanford (Balban et al., Cell Reports Medicine, 2023) * Haptic guidance: inhale, top-up and exhale each feel different. GETTING STARTED For the first 7 days SighSense learns your baseline: do the Morning Check after waking and you will see "Calibration 3/7" until your Vagal Score is ready. Nudges stay silent for the first 3 days. GOOD TO KNOW * Morning Check HRV needs a watch that provides beat-to-beat intervals; otherwise the score is estimated from resting heart rate (marked as approximately). * Garmin Stress and Body Battery are used on watches with Connect IQ 3.3+. * The glance is available on watches with Connect IQ 4.0+. * "Open on phone" needs the Garmin Connect app on a paired phone.
