Wind Track helps kitesurfers check wind, weather and marine forecasts directly on their Garmin watch. • Wind speed, direction and gusts. • Wave height, period and direction. • Forecasts for today, tomorrow and the weekend. • Comparison of favorite spots. • Map with animated wind visualization. • Alerts when a spot reaches favorable standard conditions. Configure favorite coastal spots in the app settings on your phone by entering a recognizable name, latitude and longitude. Saved spots remain available without GPS permission. On first launch, choose whether to allow location access. With your consent, Wind Track acquires the current watch location when you open the app and sends the coordinates to Open-Meteo for forecasts. Forecast updates require an Internet connection through Wi-Fi or a paired phone. Weather and marine data are provided by Open-Meteo. The watch interface is currently in Italian. Always check actual conditions and local warnings before entering the water.
