Beskrivelse

Gude Timer - Good Eggs, Gude Time A dedicated egg timer for your Garmin watch with presets based on egg size, storage temperature, and cooking method. Features: Choose your egg size (S, M, L, XL) for accurate timing Room temp or straight from the fridge? The timer adjusts automatically (+60 seconds for cold eggs) Two cooking methods: cold water start or boiling water start Three doneness levels: soft, medium, or hard yolk Visual countdown with color-coded progress ring Vibration alerts at the start, every full minute, and when done Quick access to your last-used settings How it works: Pick your egg size, storage temp, cooking method, and preferred doneness. The timer calculates the cooking time and guides you through. For cold water starts, you'll get a prompt to begin timing once the water boils. For boiling water, just drop the eggs in and hit start. Cold Start vs. Boiling Water Start: Cold Start: Place eggs in cold water, then bring to a boil Gentler cooking method that reduces cracking Eggs heat gradually with the water Better for peeling as the gradual temperature change prevents the egg white from bonding tightly to the shell Timing starts when water reaches a boil Ideally use a small pot (like 16cm diameter). Water level should just cover the egg Boiling Water Start: Add eggs to already boiling water More precise control over doneness Whites set faster, creating a firmer texture Yolks cook more evenly Timing starts immediately when eggs enter the water Ideally use a small pot (like 16cm diameter). Water level should just cover the egg Last Used: The app remembers your preferences, so repeat cooking is just one tap away.
