Tactical watch face built around a 24-hour sun ring: daylight, twilight and night at a glance, with a sunset countdown, Zulu time and a red night mode. On the ring, noon is at the top and midnight at the bottom. The amber arc is daylight, the orange and violet bands are civil and nautical twilight, the blue is night, and a golden sun marks the current moment. At night the moon takes its place and shows the real moon phase. Under the large time: how long until sunset or sunrise, then four data fields. WHY YOU MAY LIKE IT • Real twilight on the ring: civil and nautical twilight are calculated on the watch for your location, so the bands follow the season and your latitude, including polar day and polar night. • Countdown under the time: "SUNSET IN 8h 13m" by day, "SUNRISE IN" at night. • Date and Zulu (UTC) time in one line, for navigation, radio and travel. • Barometer with a 3-hour trend arrow. A drop of 4 hPa or more within 3 hours turns the value red with a double arrow, as a storm warning. • Red night mode: off, from sunset to sunrise, or always on. • Always-on display on AMOLED watches: outlined time, a thin sun ring, the countdown and the moon phase. It shifts a few pixels every minute and passes the 24-hour screen burn-in test of the Connect IQ simulator. On MIP watches the full face stays visible. BUILT FOR REAL USE • Missing data shows "--", never a misleading zero. • Sunrise, sunset and twilight do not need a live GPS fix: the face uses the last known location (from weather data or your last activity). If no location is known yet, the ring stays grey and shows "--". • Some data types (such as recovery time, VO2 max, training status or sleep score) come from newer watches only; on older models they show "--". • Built for every supported round model (round watches only) and tested in the Connect IQ simulator. PRIVACY The last known location is stored only on your watch, to calculate sunrise, sunset and twilight. The face has no internet permission and sends no data anywhere.
