ArkaRower - Connected Ergometer Brick Breaker Transform your indoor rowing workouts into an addictive arcade challenge! ArkaRower combines cardio training with retro arcade action. Connect your Garmin watch via Bluetooth (BLE) to your indoor rower or companion app, or train anywhere with the built-in virtual rower. Every stroke charges your catapult, aims your launcher, triggers an in-flight shield, and fires rockets - while recording an official Garmin Connect (FIT) rowing workout with power, cadence, and distance. --- Pairing: WaterRower + SmartRow (EXR Broadcast) ArkaRower connects to WaterRower machines equipped with SmartRow via the companion app Bluetooth broadcast: 1. Connect your SmartRow pulley to the official SmartRow app on your phone. 2. In SmartRow settings, enable "EXR Broadcast" (Bluetooth FTMS stream). 3. Open ArkaRower on your Garmin watch: it automatically pairs to receive live Watts, stroke rate (SPM), speed, and distance. 4. Start rowing: your stroke power immediately drives the game! Direct connection: ArkaRower also connects directly to SmartRow hardware or any standard FTMS monitor (Concept2 PM5, WaterRower ComModule, Domyos, Technogym, Matrix, etc.). --- Effort-Driven Gameplay (3 Phases) Start each game with 5 balls through 3 dynamic phases: 1. Phase 1: Catapult Charge (Joules): Pull on the handle to accumulate energy. Reaching your Joules target arms the launcher. 2. Phase 2: Power-Steered Aiming (Watts): The launcher sweeps across the board (-45 to +45 deg). Row above target Watts to steer toward bricks. Haptics pulse over the final 5s. Press START or tap to fire early. 3. Phase 3: Ball in Flight and Dynamic Shield: Row above target Watts in flight to deploy a green shield that bounces balls back. Live power flashes in the center for 1s. --- Bricks and Special Power-Ups Procedurally generated levels with 9 brick types: - Neutral and Score Bricks: Obstacles and score builders. - Explosive Bomb: Cracks on 1st hit; on 2nd hit detonates adjacent bricks in 8 directions! - Extra Ball and Power Shield: Awards +1 ball or deploys a 5s barrier. - Machine Gun: Mobile rocket cannon - every stroke fires 3 rockets! - Multiball, Speed Boost and Slow Motion: Tactical modifiers. --- 4-Page Workout Summary and FIT Recording Press BACK/LAP to pause or finish, and browse 4 summary pages: - Page 1: Final Score, Duration, Finish Time, High Score badge. - Page 2: Heart Rate, Level reached, Bricks broken, Remaining balls. - Page 3: Avg and Max Watts, Work (kJ/J), Calories, Strokes, SPM, Distance. - Page 4: SAVE (commits official FIT activity to Garmin Connect) or DISCARD. --- Compatibility and Controls - Controls: START/ENTER or Tap to launch; UP/DOWN or Swipe to browse summary; BACK/LAP to pause/exit. - Watches: Compatible with over 170 Garmin models (Fenix, Epix, Enduro, Forerunner, Venu, Vivoactive, MARQ, Instinct 2). --- Legal Disclaimer and Trademark Notice This app is independent third-party software for Garmin Connect IQ devices.
