Radik for Garmin turns your watch into a water-sports session recorder. Pick your sport, start, and ride. When you finish, your GPS track, heart rate and session stats are sent to your Radik account, where they become a full session report you can share with the Radik community. SPORTS Surf, Kite, SUP, Wingfoil, Bodyboard and Windsurf, each with its own icon and color. Choose the sport on the watch with UP/DOWN and press START. LIVE ON YOUR WRIST • Screen 1 - session: status (surfing, paddling, waiting), wave count, session time, and your heart rate. • Screen 2 - wave stats: your latest and best wave, with ride time, top speed and distance, plus a ride / paddle / wait split. • Screen 3 - swell and tide: swell height, period and direction, tide height and direction, water temperature. • Screen 4 - wind: wind speed and direction, and whether it is offshore, onshore or cross-shore. Kite sessions also show your jumps (height, air time and distance). AUTOMATIC SPOT AND CONDITIONS Radik finds the nearest surf spot to your first GPS fix (within 25 km) and shows its live swell, tide and wind, the same data you see in the Radik app. If there is no spot close to you, the watch simply says so. AUTOMATIC WAVE COUNTING Waves are counted on the watch while you surf, using speed, duration and distance rules, so you know how many you caught without touching your wrist. YOUR SESSION IN RADIK Press START or BACK to pause, then Resume, Save or Discard. Saving uploads your GPS trace to Radik. In the Radik app you get your session report, the map of your route, your waves, speeds and conditions, and you can post it for your friends. Radik works for surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, foilers, SUP riders and bodyboarders. HOW TO CONNECT There is no typing on the watch. Open the app and it shows a 6-digit code. In the Radik phone app go to Settings - Connected devices - Garmin and enter the code. The watch stays connected to your account. REQUIREMENTS • A free Radik account (iPhone or Android app, or the web). • A Wi-Fi or phone connection to upload sessions. • GPS: record outdoors for the best accuracy.
