Turn your next run, walk or ride into an exploration! Squadrats Hunter helps you discover new squadrats and squadratinhos directly from your Garmin watch. See the grid, follow a Strava route and find tiles you have not visited yet. FEATURES • Switch between squadrats and the smaller squadratinhos. • Connect to Squadrats to see known unvisited tiles marked with red crosses. • See tiles collected during your activity marked with green check marks. • Get sound and vibration alerts when you enter a new tile, if enabled and supported by your watch. • Load a Strava route and view the entire route on a separate overview screen. • Track time, distance and the number of new tiles during your activity. • Customize the data page with fields such as pace, heart rate, elevation and new tiles. • Record and save your activity to Garmin Connect. MAPS On compatible watches with built-in maps, the app overlays the grid, route and markers on the watch's own map. Background maps are not included with the app. On Forerunner 265 and 745, the app draws the grid, route and track without a background map showing roads and trails. SETUP AND OFFLINE USE Connect to Strava and Squadrats using the setup instructions shown on your watch. A phone with internet access is required for setup and for downloading routes and Squadrats data. Downloaded routes and Squadrats data are stored on the watch and can be used without your phone. When connected to Squadrats, new-tile alerts require coverage by downloaded data. BETA This is a beta version. Features and device compatibility are still being tested. A Squadrats account and account linking are required to identify previously visited tiles. A connected phone with Garmin Connect and internet access is required for account setup and downloading routes and Squadrats data. Downloaded routes and tile data can then be used without the phone. PRIVACY Connections to Strava and Squadrats pass through a backend service operated by the app developer. To provide these features, the service processes authorization requests, route data, your Squadrats identifier and requests identifying the map area being downloaded. These areas may relate to your route or current location.
