About a disappearing or freezing second hand:
The watch has basically 3 states:
- awake, when you glance at it or do something i.e. pressing a button
- sleep, or say doze, then the second hand disappears and the display is only updated at every full minute
- deep sleep, the display doesn't update at all
All those states are invoked by the operating system of the watch. My humble watch face has nothing to say here. So consider it as a trade off between a long lasting accu and an analogue watch face which only changes, when you look at it. I tried to heal it a bit with my permanentSecond switch....
but the operating system overrides me here.... so no chance.... and the simulator coming with the SDK does not simulate this. So double no chance. :-)
