The wind on your wrist, in knots. Built for kite, wing and windsurf days: glance down and see if it's on. Without an account the face takes wind speed and direction from your watch's own weather (Garmin Connect). With a free BreakFinder account the server adds gusts and what the wind does at your spot. WHAT YOU SEE • Wind speed in knots on a gauge, with an arrow for the direction • The clock and date, always • With an account: gusts, the wind class as the colour of the tile (offshore, cross, onshore) and a word for it • With Premium: your kite size for the wind right now (9M KITE). Without it that chip simply isn't there • A word for the day at the bottom, next to your spot (SOLID, BLOWN OUT, ...). When the data comes from your watch, it says SYSTEM WIND instead • AMOLED Always-On: dim outline clock, wind arrow and knots, shifted every minute against burn-in. Instinct shows the knots in its small window WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Wind from your watch's weather, nothing to set up. No gusts, no class, no kite size. If the watch has no weather, the face says NO WIND DATA instead of a made-up number. WITH A BREAKFINDER ACCOUNT Gusts, wind class and wind word for your home spot. BreakFinder Premium adds the kite size. Free accounts just don't see that chip. SETTINGS API token (optional) and Update interval (5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes). SET UP 1. Install the face. The wind shows up on its own 2. Optional: create a free account at breakfinder.surf and set your home spot 3. Copy your API token from https://breakfinder.surf/watch 4. Paste it in the face settings (Connect IQ app → Device → My Watch Faces → Wind Explorer → Settings → API Token) and save Already use another BreakFinder face or the BreakFinder Garmin app? It's the same token. PRIVACY Without a token nothing leaves your watch. With a token, the token goes to breakfinder.surf and nothing else. The face does not send your position.
