A quiet, refined face framed by tick scales down both edges. Ridge sets a large, thin time and a letter-spaced date between tick scales that curve down both edges of the screen. Everything is set in the Connect IQ app, in sections: - Theme colour: 13 colours, orange by default, including champagne gold, rose gold, bronze and platinum - Time and date: 12- or 24-hour time, a line under the time showing the seconds, today's daylight or progress toward a goal, and the size and weight of the type - Columns: three readings under the time, from steps, heart rate, temperature, Body Battery, calories, active calories, intensity minutes, stress, floors, Pulse Ox, UV, next sunrise or sunset, altitude, distance and notifications - Bottom line: one more reading, your own text or nothing, moved up or down as you like - Edge scales: two scales down each side (Body Battery, battery, steps and calories to start), or one per side; calories and active calories fill toward goals you set - Always-on: choose which parts stay on, in white, grey or your theme colour, or switch it off Good to know: - Touch and hold a reading to open the matching Garmin screen. - To protect the AMOLED screen from burn-in, the centre of the face shifts a few pixels each minute, awake and in always-on. - Garmin limits how bright the always-on face may be. If the parts you choose would be too bright, Ridge hides the extras, edge-scale markers first. The time always stays. - Active calories are an estimate (total calories less your resting burn) and may differ slightly from the Garmin app. - Ridge uses only data your watch already has. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere. - The "Communication" permission is how Garmin lets a face read your Body Battery, stress and Pulse Ox, and open Garmin screens. No data leaves your watch.
