Czech Name Days - name-day calendar and reminders for Garmin You know the feeling: it's noon, and you suddenly remember it's Vendelín's name day. Vendelín is your boss. Czech Name Days (České svátky) tells you in time, right on your wrist, with no account, no internet, and no awkward "oh right, happy name day…" three days late. WHAT IT DOES • Who celebrates today — the app always opens on today. No searching. • A week either way — press Up and Down (or swipe) to browse up to seven days forward or back. If a day has more names than fit on screen, you scroll through all of them first, then move on to the next day. • Back to today — tap the red label at the top, or press Back. Press Back once more to close the app. • My names — your personal list of family, friends and coworkers, sorted by date. Press Start (or tap the screen) to open it. • The whole year — "+ Add name" opens all 366 days. Pick a name, press Start, and it's saved. The watch confirms it, so you know it worked. • Removing, with a safety catch — select a name in My names and the watch asks whether you really want to remove it. No mother-in-law gets deleted by accident. (Unless you mean it.) • Reminders — at the time you choose, one notification tells you who celebrates today and who celebrates tomorrow. That gives you a day to decide: flowers, or just a text? • Garmin Glance — see the next saved name day and how many days are left, without opening the app. • Czech and English — switch the language of the app, glance, settings and reminders at any time. CONTROLS YOU ALREADY KNOW Up and Down move, Start selects, Back goes back one step. Just like everywhere else on your Garmin, so there's nothing new to learn. On touchscreen models, simply tap the name you want. Open the settings (language, reminders on or off, and their time) by holding Menu, by holding your finger on the calendar, or from the side menu on Venu 4. A new reminder time takes effect immediately. BUILT FOR RECENT GARMIN WATCHES Czech Name Days supports recent models in the fēnix, epix, Forerunner, Venu, vívoactive, Approach, Descent, D2, Instinct and MARQ families — 67 models in 81 variants. Icons and the flag are drawn separately for MIP and AMOLED displays, so they look sharp on every watch. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE The whole Czech name-day calendar is built into the app. No account, no connection, no data collection. Your names stay on your watch. Whose name day is it today?
