Astralis is an astronomical analog watch face: an aventurine dial, a 24-hour flange that follows the real length of the day, a day / night window where the sun rises behind the mountains, and a moon phase disc like on a mechanical movement. STYLE • 6 themes: Aventurine (midnight blue & steel), Garnet (burgundy & yellow gold), Racing Green (British green & yellow gold), Onyx (black & steel), Slate (meteorite & glacier blue), Imperial (night violet & rose gold) • Applied indices, faceted dauphine hands with lume, seconds hand with counterweight ASTRONOMY • 24-hour flange: the daylight band runs from sunrise to sunset, with gold markers and a twilight on each side • Day / night window: the sun follows its path across the sky and hides behind the ridge at night • Moon phase disc: the moon slides out from behind the humps as lit as in the sky, with a lunar age pointer and the illumination in % • Sunrise and sunset times • GMT hand on the 24-hour flange, for the time zone of your choice (UTC by default, half-hour zones included) DATA • Two registers at 9 and 3 o'clock with a progress arc, and a data line at 6 o'clock (can be hidden) • 30 data: heart rate, Body Battery, stress, steps, calories, floors climbed, intensity minutes (week), altitude, weather (temperature and its icon), respiration, Pulse Ox, watch battery, resting heart rate, intensity minutes (day), distance (day), running and cycling distance (week), recovery time, notifications, chance of precipitation, humidity, sunrise, sunset, moon illumination, solar intensity, day / week / year progress, UV index, feels-like temperature • Defaults: Body Battery at 9 o'clock, heart rate at 3 o'clock, watch battery at 6 o'clock • Date window, sunrise / sunset times and moon illumination can each be hidden • Units follow your watch settings (°C/°F, m/ft, km/mi, 12/24 h) • Customize from the Garmin Connect app or directly on the watch ALWAYS-ON • Minimal low-power mode on AMOLED watches: hour markers, outlines of the hands and the date, shifted every minute to protect the display • On MIP (memory-in-pixel) watches: the screen never turns off, the full face stays on while the watch sleeps, without the seconds Sunrise and sunset come from your watch (or the location of the last weather update); data your watch does not provide shows "--".
