Haedal shows the sun and moon for where you are, drawn like the real sky. See the sun's path over the horizon, the time left until sunrise or sunset, golden hour and blue hour for photos, and tonight's moon right on your watch. Everything is calculated on the watch, so no internet is needed. **Features** - **Horizon:** the sky colour follows the sun's height, with the sun's path from sunrise to sunset and where the sun and moon are now. A big countdown shows the time to the next sunrise or sunset. - **Golden hour and blue hour:** morning and evening windows in a table, plus a heads-up such as "Golden hour in 25m" or "ends in 18m". - **Sun:** sunrise and sunset times and directions (e.g. ESE 103), day length and how much it changed since yesterday, the sun's height at noon. - **Moon:** a realistic moon drawn from NASA's lunar maps, percent lit, waxing or waning, next moonrise and moonset, next full and new moon. - **Compass:** the dial turns with your watch and marks where the sun (or the moon at night) rises and sets today, handy for lining up a photo. - **Calendar:** the month's moon phases at a glance, full moons in orange and new moons in blue. - **Preview a date:** press START to look up to 7 days back or 30 days ahead. - **Glance:** "Sunset in 4h 5m" and the next sunrise and sunset times without opening the app. - Optional motion effects (rising sun, sparkling water), help pages with figures and tables. The first help page shows the Korean letters 해 (hae, sun) and 달 (dal, moon). - 8 languages: English, 한국어, Deutsch, Français, Español, 日本語, 中文 (繁體/简体). **How to use** 1. Open the app. It finds your position and calculates today's sun and moon (the first time may need a GPS fix outdoors). 2. UP/DOWN move between Horizon, Sun, Moon, Compass and Calendar. 3. Press START to preview another date and BACK to return to today. Hold UP for the menu. **Good to know** - Times come from standard astronomical formulas (Meeus). In testing, sunrise and sunset were almost always within a minute. Mountains and buildings are not taken into account. - Your position is only used for the calculation and never leaves the watch.
