Description

MeteoSense quietly watches your barometric pressure, heart rate, Garmin Stress and Body Battery in the background, and warns you when your personal risk of feeling worse — headache, fatigue, a heavy day — starts climbing. Often before you'd notice it yourself. WHY IT EXISTS Weather-related headaches and fatigue are real for many people, but the link is different for everyone: some react to fast pressure drops, others to swings after a calm spell, others barely at all. A generic "storm warning" push notification is useless if it doesn't match your body. MeteoSense doesn't use a generic rule — it learns your personal pattern from your own feedback over time. HOW IT WORKS Every 15 minutes, a lightweight background service reads sensor history your watch has already recorded (you don't need to keep the app open, and it doesn't drain the battery by polling sensors itself). It combines five signals into one score: • barometric pressure trend over the last 3 hours • average heart rate over the last 30 minutes • Garmin's Stress score, which itself factors in heart rate variability • current Body Battery level • recent elevation change, so a hike or a flight of stairs isn't mistaken for a weather front After a short calibration period (about 8 background checks), if the combined risk score crosses your personal threshold, the watch shows a one-time system notification — never more than once every 6 hours, so it won't nag you. TEACHING IT ABOUT YOU Tap anywhere on the watch face (or press START on button watches) and rate how you feel right now: fine, mild headache, strong headache, or fatigue. Each rating nudges the model's weights and its alert threshold a little closer to your real pattern. The more consistently you rate — good days included, not just bad ones — the sharper it gets. Give it 2-3 weeks of regular ratings before judging it. CONTROLS • Touchscreen watches (Venu, vivoactive): tap the watch face to rate how you feel; tap the small menu icon in the top-right corner for settings. • Button watches (fenix, Enduro, tactix): press START to rate; press DOWN, or hold UP, for settings. • Settings let you turn the background monitor on or off, adjust sensitivity, run a check manually, send a test notification, and reset what it has learned. WHAT IT IS NOT This is an experimental personal-correlation indicator, built on heuristics and the sensor data Connect IQ exposes to third-party apps — not a certified medical device. It does not diagnose migraines, hypertension, or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor. If you have a real medical concern, please see one. DEVICES fenix 7 / 7S / 7X and their Pro variants, Enduro 2, tactix 7, Venu 2 / 2S / 2 Plus, Venu 3 / 3S, vivoactive 5 — plus any newly compatible device Garmin adds automatically. Interface language: Russian. Menus and status text are in Russian on every supported watch. QUESTIONS OR SUGGESTIONS Message the developer on Telegram: https://t.me/FF9EC80C6C6F
