Popis
Breathe by feel. Breath Pacer guides your breathing with vibration, so you can close your eyes and let your watch keep the rhythm.
One long buzz: breathe in. Two short buzzes: breathe out. A soft hum: hold. That's it.
CHOOSE BY WHAT YOU NEED
Relax & sleep
• 4-7-8: in for 4, hold for 7, out for 8. A classic wind-down before sleep.
• Cyclic sigh: a double inhale and a long exhale. In a 2023 Stanford study, 5 minutes a day improved mood more than mindfulness meditation.
• Resonant: slow, even breaths at about 5.5 a minute, the pace from the book Breath.
Focus
• Box: equal in, hold, out, hold. Calm focus under pressure.
• Resonant: steady heart and mind.
Energy
• Quick energy: 30 deep breaths, then 15 seconds on empty, 3 rounds. The energising routine from the same Stanford study.
• Power breathing: 30 deep breaths, then hold on empty until you need air, then a recovery breath. Your hold times are shown at the end.
Manual
• Set your own pace, from 3 to 8 seconds in and out.
FEATURES
• Every pattern starts at its recommended length; adjust it with UP/DOWN
• A breathing circle and ring that follow each breath, if you want to look
• Optional light tick on every second
• Night screen: a dim red display for dark rooms
• No phone, account or data collection needed
SAFETY
Power breathing and Quick energy involve deep, fast breathing and breath holds. Always do them sitting or lying down, never in or near water or while driving. Light-headedness and tingling are common; stop if you feel unwell. Breath Pacer is a relaxation and wellness tool, not a medical device. If you have a heart, lung or other medical condition, or are pregnant, check with your doctor first.
