Each hand is built from a chrome frame, a dark groove and a cream lume core, with the lit side chosen from a single light direction so the metal reads as metal. A dark edge runs the full length, so the tips stay readable even crossing the brightest part of the lava. --- ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY --- On AMOLED watches the always-on screen drops to outlined hands and twelve marker dots on black - measured at 1.8% of the screen lit, well inside Garmin's 10% limit.
