Quiet, gold-accented digital face with two ruled rows of data. Gold Rule is the dressier, elegant face in the set. The full date sits at the top (TUE 14 OCTOBER). Below it, a row of three data cells, then the time with solid hours and gold outlined minutes, then a second row of three. A pair of values closes the bottom, and two slim labelled arcs frame the sides. Out of the box the top row shows heart rate, steps and battery days left, the bottom row shows distance, temperature and intensity minutes, the footer shows notifications and calories, and the arcs show Body Battery™ and stress. Seconds appear in active mode. All ten of those slots can be changed in the phone settings, and most can be left empty. There is plenty to choose from: heart rate and resting heart rate, steps, distance, calories, floors, intensity minutes, weekly run and bike distance, recovery time, VO2 max, Body Battery™, stress, Pulse Ox, respiration, sleep score, battery and battery days, notifications, alarms, altitude, pressure, temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind, rain chance, sunrise, sunset, daylight left, moon phase, solar intensity, ISO week and a second time zone. Availability depends on the slot and the watch. You can also set the theme (Original, Cyan, Lime or Mono), 12 or 24 hour time or the watch default, a leading zero for 12 h, seconds on or off, the date style (TUE 14 OCT, 14 OCT TUE, TUE 10/14 or 2026-10-14), the always-on style (Rich, Minimal or Time only), units (watch, metric or imperial), the first day of the week (watch, Monday or Sunday) and a second time zone (UTC offset and a 4-letter label). On touch watches, touching and holding a field opens the related screen. Always-on mode keeps a dim, simplified version of the layout, refreshed once a minute and nudged slightly over time against burn-in. Before you install: weather depends on the last sync from your phone and shows "--" without one. Settings are changed on the phone (Connect IQ Store app or Garmin Connect app), not on the watch. Seconds are hidden in always-on mode. A value your watch model does not provide shows "--". Touch and hold is for touch watches (Venu® 4) only. Health data is shown for general information, not for medical use. Runs on Venu® 4 41 mm, Venu® 4 45 mm, Instinct® 3 AMOLED 45 mm and Instinct® 3 AMOLED 50 mm. The D2™ Air X15 shares the Venu® 4 45 mm profile and runs it as well. Privacy: no data is collected and none leaves the watch. No internet, background or location permission.
