Pow3r77 Control - Home Assistant on your wrist Four full-screen buttons. Each one triggers an automation in your Home Assistant: lights, blinds, a goodnight scene, whatever you like. Tap, the watch buzzes, done. HOW IT WORKS The app sends a request to a Home Assistant webhook. You decide inside Home Assistant which automation or script that webhook runs, so the app needs to know nothing about your home, and changing what a button does never requires reinstalling anything. WHAT YOU NEED - A Home Assistant instance reachable over HTTPS from the internet (Nabu Casa or a reverse proxy). Plain http is not allowed by Garmin. - One automation with a "webhook" trigger per command, with local_only turned off: the request leaves from your phone, so Home Assistant sees it as coming from outside your local network. - In the app settings: the Home Assistant address, plus a name and a webhook id for each button. DETAILS - Works by touch or by buttons: UP and DOWN move the selection, START runs it. The fenix touchscreen is disabled during activities and when the screen is locked, so everything must be reachable without it. - Different vibration for success and failure, so you know the outcome without looking. - Errors are spelled out: webhook not found, no connection, or the response code. - An unconfigured button stays greyed out and inert instead of failing when pressed. - After a confirmed command the app closes itself. PLAIN WARNINGS The webhook id is stored in the Connect IQ settings, which are kept in clear text and synchronised through Garmin's servers. A webhook is not full account access - it triggers one automation and cannot read or control anything else - but anyone who knows it can fire that automation. Use long, random ids, and think twice before binding something sensitive, such as opening a gate or a door, to a button. This app is not a security system and does not replace your home controls. It is not an official Home Assistant or Garmin product.
