SETTINGS ON THE WATCH Hold UP, pick Watch Face, select Slice, press START, then Customize. The menu is drawn in the style of the face: a short How it works guide, the colours, the data at the top and at the bottom, the hours, the leading zero, the moving slices and the always-on brightness. The same settings are in Garmin Connect if you prefer the phone. THE TIME, HUGE AND SLICED Hours on top, minutes below, in digits that fill the screen. Each digit is cut into horizontal slices that shift a little, like blinds half open. When you raise your wrist, the slices fly in and settle. You can keep them still. EASY TO READ Nothing sits on the digits. The day is written from top to bottom on the left, the date is on the right, your battery is at the top and one value of your choice at the bottom, all in large type. HOLD FOR THE GRID On watches with a touchscreen, press and hold the middle of the screen to see eight values at once around the time: heart rate, battery, steps, calories, Body Battery, floors, distance and temperature. Hold again to go back. If your watch has no value, it shows -- rather than a made-up number. Nothing leaves the watch. MAKE IT YOURS Eight colour themes: Mint, Coral, Lilac, Sun, Ocean, Red, Lime, Mono. Data at the top and at the bottom: steps, heart rate, watch battery, Body Battery, calories, floors, distance, intensity minutes, notifications, temperature, or none. Hours like your watch, or always 24-hour, or 12-hour with or without a leading zero. ALWAYS-ON A separate always-on design on a black screen: every other slice of the digits in grey, the day and the date. It shifts slightly every minute to protect the screen. A brighter option is in the menu. Compatible with the Garmin AMOLED watches listed on this page. English only.
