Build a little zoo with your daily steps. Pocket Zoo: Polished brings softly shaded animals and richly illustrated habitats to your Garmin watch. Every 1,000 steps brings another animal encounter. Discover 28 species, from woodland favorites and colorful birds to the elusive Mythic Unicorn, and keep track of your discoveries in the on-watch collection. Choose your setting: Forest, Savanna, Snowy Mountains, Tropical Lagoon, Cherry Blossom Garden or Enchanted Meadow. Birds can take to the sky and swimming animals can visit the water. Choose whether your animals rearrange when you wake the display or keep their daily positions. Make the face your own: 28 collectible species with different rarity levels Six illustrated habitats, three animal sizes and 12 accent colors Three configurable data slots, including steps, calories, battery and heart rate Optional outer ring for steps, battery, floors, weekly intensity minutes or seconds On-watch settings, collection browser and animal details Press-and-hold shortcuts for supported metrics and the date Automatic 12/24-hour time, optional date and a sparse always-on view Settings, animal names and rules localized into 36 languages How your collection grows: One encounter is awarded per 1,000 daily steps. Rarer categories become eligible at 3,000, 6,000, 10,000 and 15,000 steps. Duplicates are possible; new discoveries are not guaranteed. The Mythic Unicorn has a 0.5% chance per eligible encounter from 15,000 steps onward. The face displays up to 24 recent daily visitors. Daily visitors reset each day, while your discovered-species collection stays saved locally. Rewards are processed when the face reads your current steps; it does not reconstruct previous days. Uninstalling, resetting the collection or changing watches can lose your collection. Screenshots show illustrative simulator scenes, rather than a guaranteed collection at the displayed step count. Pocket Zoo: Polished is a separate app and purchase from the original Pocket Zoo. Collections and purchase unlocks do not transfer between editions. For supported round AMOLED Garmin watches. See the listing's compatible-device list for exact models. Available metrics, shortcuts and always-on behavior depend on the watch and firmware; unavailable measurements display a placeholder.
