oSplit puts an orienteering course on your watch and punches each control for you. Get courses. Open oSplit and choose Get courses: the watch shows a 4-character code. On osplit.app, open a course and choose Send to watch, type the code, and the course is on your watch seconds later. Courses stay on the watch, so you can run them anywhere, with no phone. Run. oSplit records a normal Garmin activity (a run by default) with the best GPS your watch has. When you reach a control, it punches: a vibration and a tone you can't mistake, a lap in the activity, and your split on the screen. Miss one and it tells you with a different pattern. The course ring around the screen shows every control: done, missed, next. Navigate page: the next control, an arrow to it and the distance. Splits, a course map with your track, and the usual data page. Race mode for competitions: no navigation help at all, splits at the finish. Your best time on a course is the reference: every punch shows if you're ahead or behind. Splits as laps in Garmin Connect and Strava, with each control's code. Tip. For the most detailed track, set System → Data Recording → Every Second on your watch. oSplit is the watch companion of osplit.app, where you can replay your run against others on the orienteering map.

Use the osplit site to setup courses or download existing ones, reuse old maps, print new, train or race. fully documented on the main site, but to download courses view them on the website, click the 3 dots to give the send to watch option and enjoy!
