Globetrotter puts a living globe on your wrist. Spin it with your finger, tap any country, and keep a map of everywhere you've been. THE GLOBE - Coastlines and borders of every country, drawn as glowing line art on pure black, easy on an AMOLED battery - Drag to spin, flick to let it coast, UP / DOWN to zoom (1x, 2x, 4x) - Day and night are live: the amber line shows where the sun is rising and setting, and the night side dims. It refreshes every 5 minutes COUNTRIES - Tap a country to see its name, its capital and the local time there, with daylight saving handled for you - Tap it again and the globe turns to centre it - Browse all 240+ countries and territories A to Z from the menu; picking one flies the globe there VISITED COUNTRIES - Mark the countries you've been to and they light up in cyan, filled and outlined, so your travels are visible at a glance - Mark one from its card (press START), or tick them off under Settings, Visited countries - Your list stays on the watch WORLD CLOCK - Pin up to 8 of 150 major cities; they show on the globe with their names - START jumps from one pinned city to the next and shows its local time - Choose the cities on the watch (Settings, Pinned cities) or in the app settings in Garmin Connect CONTROLS - Drag: spin. Tap: country card. Tap the same country again: centre it - UP / DOWN: zoom - START: next pinned city, or mark the open country as visited - Hold UP: menu (Countries, Visited, Pinned cities, Reset view, Settings) - BACK: close the card, then exit. Swiping sideways never closes the app PRIVACY AND BATTERY - No internet connection, no account and no data collection: everything stays on the watch - Location is read once, when the app starts, from the watch's last known position, to centre the globe on you and show a "you are here" dot. The app never turns on GPS - When the globe is still, the app does almost nothing: one small redraw every 5 minutes for the day/night line NOTES - Map data: Natural Earth (public domain). Borders follow Natural Earth's "de facto" view, which shows the line of control on the ground; it is not a political statement - Time zones follow the official rules of each country's capital. Morocco's Ramadan time change is not followed
