By default it is smoked fumé: the dial glows in the center and darkens toward the rim, where the squares melt into the shadow. Prefer the classic look? Pick the flat 2D grid under a sunray sheen, or 3D, where each cell becomes a low pyramid lit from the upper left. Hour markers sit out near the edge, with a double marker at 12 and four short ticks between the hours. Styles with round markers keep only the studs. Faceted hands change their shine as they turn, a slim seconds hand sweeps the dial, and a date window at 3 can show the day, or the month and the day side by side. The same settings are in the Connect IQ phone app. HOW TO UNLOCK PREMIUM Open the watch face settings → Premium. You'll see a 6-digit code. Go to kzl.io/code, enter the code and complete the payment. Your watch unlocks within a few minutes (keep it connected to your phone). Payments are handled by KiezelPay. Refunds within 30 days through the KiezelPay helpdesk (kiezelpay.com/faq). Fumé needs an AMOLED screen; memory-in-pixel watches (Forerunner, fēnix 6, Instinct…) show the 2D grid in one bold color. On AMOLED watches the always-on mode turns the dial dark and leaves the hands and markers in a dim outline, shifting a little every minute to protect the screen.
