Mixed Matrix is a free digital watch face with stacked hours and minutes, geometric matrix digits and two compact metric fields on black. Choose one pattern for the hour pair and another for the minute pair: Dashes, Squares, Fine dots or Large dots. The default combines square hours with fine-dot minutes. Choose Peach, Mint, Sky, Lavender, Coral or Monochrome accents. Time follows the watch's 12/24-hour preference, with optional overrides. Date shows a two-digit day and short weekday, such as 14 WED. Configure the top and bottom fields independently. Depending on your watch, choices include date, steps, sampled heart rate, battery, weather temperature, weekly running/cycling distance, altitude, floors, daily distance, calories, weekly intensity minutes, Body Battery, stress, recovery time, respiration, sleep score, sunrise, sunset, feels-like temperature, humidity, wind and blank. Values follow device units. Unsupported choices are omitted except retained compatibility selections; missing readings show --. Heart rate is sampled, not continuously live. Weekly running/cycling uses Garmin's native weekly totals and is unavailable on older watches including fēnix 6 Pro. Daily distance is the all-day total and is never used as a substitute for weekly running/cycling. Weather depends on Garmin's weather data and may be unavailable; the sun/cloud icon is a temperature marker rather than a reported sky condition. AMOLED always-on mode uses sparse white fine-dot clusters with a rotating rest mask. MIP watches retain the full colored face in sleep. On capable touch watches, touch and hold a metric field to open its available associated Garmin app. Availability depends on the field and watch; fēnix 6 Pro has no touch shortcut. The developer receives no metric data. The face processes selected watch values locally, stores no readings, and contains no advertising, analytics or developer network service. Garmin stores your display preferences. Metric icons are derived from Google Material Symbols Rounded, Copyright Google LLC, under Apache License 2.0. The icons are recolored and rasterized for Mixed Matrix. https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0 The release includes 39 round SDK targets. Simulator validation covers Forerunner 970 and fēnix 6 Pro; other included targets have compiler validation. Physical-watch validation remains pending. Screens show actual simulator output, with sample data labeled.
