Introducing Starforged AMOLED Elevate your wrist with Starforged AMOLED, a modern and stylish analog watch face custom-built for high-definition AMOLED devices. Designed with a striking, premium aesthetic, it brings your Garmin to life while keeping battery efficiency at its core. Please note that this version is optimized exclusively for AMOLED displays. A dedicated MIP version is currently in active development. Premium Styling and Customization The unique look of Starforged begins with its stunning line-art backgrounds. The initial version comes with five unique, minimalist backgrounds that provide a sleek, high-tech aesthetic to your device. You can easily switch between these backgrounds via the watch settings in Garmin's Connect IQ app. To further personalize your device, the watch face includes settings for eight distinct color themes. These themes are used to configure the various visual elements on the screen to perfectly match your style, outfit, or mood. You can also choose from six different watch hand styles to completely change the look from classic to modern. Every interface icon has been carefully selected to pop beautifully and remain perfectly readable against the dark line-art backgrounds. Comprehensive Data Tracking and Custom Goals Starforged AMOLED features four main data zones surrounding the face, alongside a striking outer progress ring that acts as an additional visual data element. The outer ring dynamically shades itself to show your progress toward your daily targets. If device battery is selected, the shaded ring will steadily decrease as your power drains. You can also choose to display no data for the ring, allowing it to act purely as a clean, unshaded design element. Standard data fields include Steps, Calories, Active HR, Distance, Body Battery, Stress, Device Battery, Humidity, UV Index, Temperature, Date, and Sunrise/Sunset. The visual ring options include Step Goal, Calorie Goal, Distance Goal, Active HR, Device Battery, and UV Index. Take full control of your metrics with additional settings that allow you to manually input your own custom calorie or distance goals. Heart rate calculations are based on a streamlined formula of your maximum heart rate (220 minus your age). Please note that you will need to set your age in the Connect IQ settings for maximum accuracy, or the system will use default values. The UV index tracks standard environmental values from 1 to 11. Built for Battery Efficiency Beautiful design does not have to mean power-hungry performance. Starforged has been meticulously engineered to be highly battery efficient. It provides two distinct modes in the settings menu to control how often environmental data is refreshed, putting you in control of your battery life. Normal Mode refreshes weather data every 10 minutes, while the Low Power Mode extends your battery life by refreshing weather data every 30 minutes. Future Proof Updates Starforged is built to grow alongside your fitness journey. The watch face will be continuously supported, with future updates bringing new data computations, background designs, color themes, and exclusive features to keep your device feeling brand new.
