LiveTracker version for public flight tracking to PureTrack.io (https://puretrack.io) **Live tracking to PureTrack.io - without frills, immediately, easily - directly from your wrist!** Install the app and start flight tracking immediately - no need to set up a user account. Let your friends know where you are while you are practising your air sports hobby (paragliding, hanggliding, hike&fly etc.). Live tracking is an important safety element when carrying out these activities. BUT KEEP IN MIND: Live tracking via the mobile phone network only works as long as the mobile phone has reception! This live tracking technology does not work in remote areas without mobile phone coverage. This app uses the energy efficient GPS / GNSS of your Garmin device for livetracking. Location data is sent via BLE and your mobile phone to the server of PureTrack.io. This app helps conserve your mobile phone’s battery life compared to tracking with the PureTrack mobile phone app, as the power-hungry GPS on your mobile phone is not active. Your track and position can be seen by anyone on the PureTrack.io map. There is no privacy. If you want to keep your data private and run your own server, check out my other two apps - LiveTracker and LiveTracker Datafield. Feel free to contact me, if you want to test this app on another device and I will add it to the supported devices - if possible. *** This is not an official PureTrack.io app! *** If you like this app: go to https://chk.me/XkxL0zD - Thanks! _____________________________________________________________________________________________ **Settings:** Label: Set your device name shown on the map (Default, if field left empty: first 6 characters of the unique Garmin device id) Type (number): Set your aircraft type as number according to PureTrack type list https://puretrack.io/types.json for example: 0: Unknown (Default) | 1: Glider | 6: Hang Glider | 7: Paraglider | 8: Plane | 11: Balloon Tracking interval (s): Set the time interval between two track points (Default: 10 seconds - possible values between 10 and 60 seconds) Minimal distance (m): Set minimal distance between two trackpoints when moving. If the distance of your position from the last trackpoint is smaller than this minimal distance no trackpoint sent to server unless maximal wait time reached. (Default: 30 meters - possible values between 0 and 1000 meters) Maximal timeinterval (min): Set longest time interval between two track points if minimum distance between points is not reached (if stationary its the minimum tracking time interval when not moving (Default: 5 minutes - possible values between 1 and 10 minutes) _____________________________________________________________________________________________ tags: livetrack, livetracker, livetracking, ogn, livetrack24, lt24, xcontest, puretrack, free flying, paraglider, paragliding, hangglider, hanggliding, gliding, sailplane, hike and fly, hike&fly, retrieve, safety
