** WARNING: BETA — This app is in active development and may be unstable. Please send feedback to [email protected]. If you're enjoying the app, we'd love a review once it's out of beta and generally available! ** CAPTURE IDEAS THE MOMENT THEY HIT. 100% offline. Zero cloud. Complete privacy. ** REQUIRES THE UNTETHER COMPANION APP ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE ** Voice notes on your Garmin watch. Speak into your phone's microphone, and your note appears on your wrist — saved, timestamped, and ready when you need it. Nothing leaves your devices. Ever. No fumbling with tiny keyboards. No pulling out your phone. Just talk. YOUR NOTES STAY ON YOUR DEVICES • No cloud servers — your notes never leave your phone and watch • No accounts required — install and go • Voice transcription runs entirely on your phone, not in the cloud • No data collection, no tracking, no analytics • Privacy policy: https://untether.watch/privacy HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the Untether companion app on your Android phone 2. Press SELECT on your watch to start a voice note 3. Speak — your phone transcribes using on-device speech-to-text 4. Your note is saved and visible on your watch instantly VOICE NOTES Press SELECT on your watch, speak, and your note appears. Your phone's microphone captures your voice and transcribes it on-device (powered by ML Kit) — your phone stays in your pocket, bag, or on a desk nearby. Works best with Bluetooth headphones — tap your watch, speak into your headset mic, done. No need to take your phone out. Perfect for: • Quick reminders while your hands are full • Grocery lists and to-dos on the go • Meeting notes without pulling out your phone • Capturing ideas before you forget them KEYBOARD INPUT Prefer typing? Hold SELECT to use the on-watch keyboard. Modern Garmin watches have a full QWERTY keyboard; older models offer T9-style input. Keyboard notes work without the companion app — no phone, no trial, no limits. Always free. PHONE-TO-WATCH SYNC (COMING SOON) Type or paste notes on your phone, view them on your watch. Copy a shopping list into the companion app before you leave, and it's on your wrist when you get to the store. REQUIREMENTS ** REQUIRED: Untether companion app on Android (free download from Google Play) ** • Android 8.0 or later • Bluetooth connection to phone (for voice notes) • Compatible with fēnix 5 and newer (2017+), Epix series, Forerunner 945+, Venu, and most watches with Connect IQ 3.1+ PRICING • Keyboard notes: Always free, no limits • Voice notes: 14-day free trial (full features) • After trial: $9.99 USD one-time purchase OR $2.99/month subscription via the companion app • 12-month subscription includes a perpetual licence for the current version • No hidden costs
